BDS Admission Process

The admission process of BDS program will be done through an entrance test. Aspirants can show up in an entrance test coordinated at public or college-level assessments.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • The candidates who obtain the cut-off of the NEET entrance exam are eligible for admission.
  • The candidates must have passed their 10+2 level with an aggregate of 50% of marks from a recognized board.
  • Students should have Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English in their 12 standards of education.

  • The SC/ ST candidates get 10% relaxation i.e. 40% of marks required to fulfill the eligibility.

Admission Process:

  • Aspirants must appear and qualify in the NEET entrance exam to seek admission to the course BDS.
  • Aspirants are expected to fill the NEET BDS application form by paying the necessary fee before the scheduled dates.
  • The registered candidates will get an admit card to be carried to the exam allocated exam center.
  • After announcing the result, referring to the cut-off will only be granted qualified and suitable for the counseling procedure.
  • After participating in the counseling procedure authorized by the particular administration, seats will be allocated to applicants on the grounds of rank and availability of seats.

Counseling:

The candidates looking for admissions in BDS through merit can go through the KEA counseling. Various government and private colleges are allotted to the candidates depending upon their rank. The admissions are made on the merit basis with sufficient transparency in the procedures.

All original and primary documents should be presented through counseling to get admission and a few colleges will conduct the personal interview additionally
