Bodoland University's beautiful campus is located in Rangilakhata, Debargaon, 8 kilometers north of Kokrajhar. The University's location allows students and researchers from across the border to easily visit the University. BU provides people from the region with the opportunity to pursue higher education. It also serves the educational needs of neighboring states and nations such as Bhutan, Nepal, and Bangladesh.
BU provides all basic amenities such as healthcare, a computer facility, a separate hostel for boys and girls, transportation to and from campus, and a canteen are available. Some of the facilities at the university include
- Library
The central library of Bodoland University is the most active place on campus, offering an ideal, pleasant, and friendly environment favorable to study and knowledge advancement, as well as exploration and research. The Library's aim is to assist in the creation of new knowledge through the collection, organization, and dissemination of knowledge resources, as well as the provision of value-added services. The library has a digitized collection of e-journals as well as Internet access. Books, theses, and m.phil dissertations contributed by library users are also gathered for various academic purposes.
- Healthcare
With the objective of "GOOD HEALTH FOR ALL," the university's Medical Department was established in 2013 with two staff nurses and one pharmacist. One medical officer (Ayu) and one ward boy are part of the medical team, providing ongoing care and medical-related support to Bodoland University's borders as well as staff members. The Medical Department is currently located on the university campus.
- Hostel
Bodoland University provides a separate hostel for boys and girls. There are 2 hostels for boys and 4 hostels for girls. The hostel rooms are spacious and well-furnished. The hostel premises is monitored by CCTV and safety surveillance cameras around the clock. A round-the-clock housekeeping service keeps the hostel rooms clean and safe.
