- On January 31, 2022, the Central University of Orissa (CUO), Koraput, and the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR-IMMT), Bhubaneswar, Odisha, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for five years.
- On February 3, 2022, the MS Swaminathan Research Foundation (MSSRF), Chennai, Tamil Nadu, and Central University of Orissa (CUO), Koraput, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that will last for five years.
- Five villages have been adopted by the Central University of Odisha (CUO) as part of the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) effort to bring about a good change in the surrounding areas.
