DAVUET 2023 Exam Pattern

The DAV University Entrance cum Scholarship Test (DAVUET) is an esteemed examination for aspiring students to access quality education and financial support. The exam is conducted by DAV University, a renowned educational institution dedicated to fostering academic excellence and holistic development. This prestigious scholarship examination offers access to a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs in engineering, sciences, humanities, law, and social sciences, business management, computer science, sports, physical education, and more.

Only English-language multiple-choice (MCQ) questions will be included in the examination. There will be four possible answers for each question, but there will only be one that is correct. The correct answer must be circled on the accompanying OMR sheet. There will be one mark for each question. Following are the four sections that will be on the test:

For B.Tech./B.Sc.

  • The DAVUET entrance exam structure will differ for each course depending on the applicant's choice.
  • In general, the exam format includes multiple-choice questions (MCQs) requiring candidates to select the correct answer from the given options.
  • The DAVUET entrance exam structure will differ for each course that applicants have chosen.
  • Multiple-choice questions (MCQs) that ask applicants to choose the right response from a list of possibilities typically make up the test format.
  • With respect to the chosen course, changes are made to the number of questions, subjects covered, and the scoring system.
  • During the registration process, candidates have the option of choosing between an offline (pen and paper) or an online (computer-based) mode of attending the exam.

Note that –

  • a) PCM stream students should attempt Sections A, B, and C.
  • b) PCB stream students should attempt Sections A, B, and D
  • c) Students choosing PCMB should attempt every section.

  • a) MBA candidates should attempt Sections A, B, and C

  • c) Students who choose to pursue both an MBA and an M.Com. should take all sections.

The number of sections varies on the chosen course which can range from 3-4 sections.
Yes, there is a deduction of 0.25 marks which is applied for every wrong answer.
