Students who are seeking admission to Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech.) course at the Alliance College of Engineering and Design need to have Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subject and should have scored at least 45% aggregate marks (40% in case of SC/ST candidates) in the above subjects taken together. They also need to have scored well on any of the below entrance examinations: JEE (Main), JEE (Advanced), Karnataka CET, COMED-K, Alliance University Engineering Entrance Test (AUEET), or any other State-level engineering entrance examinations. Shortlisted applicants are required to appear for the Alliance University Engineering Entrance Test (AUEET) as stage 1 & a Personal interview as Stage 2 of the admission process.

Candidates who seek to take up the B.A. LL. B. (Hons.) & B.B.A. LL. B. (Hons.) , Master of Law (LL. M.) need to have obtained a high score on the CLAT/LSAT/ACLAT (Alliance Common Law Admission Test). The ACLAT consists of 200 multiple choice questions carrying one mark each & a negative marking of 0.25 for each wrong answer. The subject areas given weightage include Language Proficiency, General Awareness, Legal Aptitude, Logical Reasoning and Analytical as well as Numerical Ability.
