Procedure for Engineering colleges in Karnataka/Bangalore under VTU
Three ways to get admission in Engineering Colleges in Bangalore Under Vtu. You will need to write the Common Entrance Test (CET) which is conducted by the government of Karnataka to determine the eligibility or merit of candidates seeking admission into the First Year or First Semester of full time engineering & architecture courses in institutions within Karnataka. Only students domiciled in Karnataka can appear for CET.

If you are a non- Karnataka student, you need to appear for the second parallel entrance test conducted by the Karnataka Private Medical & Dental Colleges Association under the name of Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) which is independent of the Government conducted CET & is used to fill some parts of certain engineering colleges in Karnataka.

A third method is for students to appear for these entrance exams & approach engineering colleges in Bangalore for admission via the management quota seats. Seats sanctioned under this quota are subject to the merit of the students & discretion of the management.

Eligibility criteria for admission in Bangalore engineering colleges are a pass in 10+2/ PUC/ HSC & other equivalent examinations with a 45% aggregate in Physics, Mathematics & Chemistry & should have appeared for at least one of the entrance exams above.
