The candidates' marks determine their ranks in the ICAR AIEEA (All India Entrance Examination for Admission). The exam is conducted over several shifts, and the ranking is determined using the normalisation procedure. The normalisation procedure ensures that all students are ranked fairly by considering the level of exam difficulty in each shift. ICAR AIEEA's merit list and cutoff marks are both released. The cutoff marks are the minimum marks required for candidates to qualify for admission to the undergraduate and postgraduate courses in agriculture. The number of candidates taking the exam, the difficulty level of the exam, and the availability of seats in the relevant courses are some of the factors based on which the cut-off mark is determined.
