ICAR AIEEA Syllabus

CUET UG Syllabus

The syllabus is developed to test the knowledge and understanding of students who wish to pursue undergraduate courses in agriculture. The syllabus is divided into four streams, Stream A (PCM), Stream B (PCB), Stream C (PCA), and Stream D (ABC).

AIEEA PG Syllabus

The ICAR AIEEA (All India Entrance Examination for Admission) PG syllabus is designed to evaluate candidates' knowledge and expertise in their chosen postgraduate courses. The syllabus is more in-depth than the undergraduate syllabus and covers subjects that are important for higher studies. The subjects include:

  • Plant pathology is the study of plant diseases, their root causes, and effective management techniques. It addresses the fundamentals of diagnosing plant diseases, understanding their epidemiology, and controlling them.
  • The subject of soil science includes its physical, chemical, and biological characteristics, its formation and classification, its fertility, its preservation, and its management techniques.
  • Entomology in agriculture is the study of insects that have an impact on farming, including their life cycles, behaviours, and management techniques. It covers the use of pesticides, pest management, and insect ecology principles.
  • Crop Improvement: This subject involves genetics and plant breeding concepts, hybridization and selection techniques, crop improvement for yield, quality, and resistance, biotechnological uses in crop improvement, and the manufacturing and certification of crop seeds.
  • Animal nutrition is the study of the nutrients that animals need, their metabolism, and how their bodies work. It encompasses principles of animal feeding, feed formulation, and feed evaluation.
  • The study of animal diseases, their causes, and treatment options are covered in the subject of veterinary pathology. It comprises fundamentals of veterinary public health, veterinary epidemiology, and veterinary diagnostics.
  • Veterinary epidemiology is the study of the transmission and prevention of animal diseases. It incorporates risk analysis, disease prevention and control, and disease surveillance principles.

A wide range of topics that are crucial for further education in agriculture and veterinary science are included in the PG syllabus. To succeed in the exam and secure a seat in their desired postgraduate course, candidates must have a thorough understanding of the syllabus.

CUEE test the candidate's knowledge of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The topics in the syllabus include 10+2 level subjects for the undergraduate courses and graduate level for the postgraduate courses.
Maths subjects include- Binomial Theorem, Sequence and Series, Conic Section, Introduction to Three-Dimensional Geometry, Principle of Mathematical Induction, etc.
Candidates must refer the recommended textbooks and study materials to prepare for the CUEE based on the syllabus.
