IEC Solan Placements

The IEC University placement cell aims to familiarise Institute students with industries. The Placement cell organizes and expands amenities in support of joint placement efforts. The cell organizes training programs for students that are primarily focused on career planning, personal development, industry-institute interaction, campus placements, industrial visits, and entrepreneurship development. The Placement Department at IEC University maintains a strong professional network across various sectors. The placement department ensures that students get placed with top corporates within six months of graduating from the University.

Students from all technical programs, including B.Tech, BFD, B.Arch, and MBA, will engage in a six-week internship with various firms. This is a mandatory part of the curriculum for program completion, and it is aimed to provide exposure to the workings of organizations as well as an opportunity to use the knowledge in solving real-world business challenges.

The IEC's Training and Placement Department is being improved in the following ways.

• More focus on communications skills and the intellectual level of students during the classes.
• The placement cell conducts seminars for Management and B.Tech courses.
• Mock interviews and grooming sessions for students.
• A database of all students with complete academic year records is being prepared.
