IMI Kolkata Admission Eligibility Criteria

Students need to match the following eligibility criteria for taking admission in IMI Kolkata

  • Candidates must have minimum 50% marks in Class X, XII & Graduation.
  • Candidates must have completed three years of bachelor's degree after 2 years of higher secondary schooling.
  • Candidates appearing for the final year exam can also apply, provided they have to fulfil the eligibility criteria of 50% marks. In either case, the authority may ask them to withdraw their application.
  • IMI Kolkata has decided to consider CMAT and MAT (exceptionally only for the year 2021) as qualifying exams in addition to CAT, XAT and GMAT for the PGDM Batch 2021-2023.
  • Foreign candidates should have a score of GMAT/English Proficiency Test/IMI Kolkata's Aptitude Test. In the time of personal interview, they should submit their score sheet to the admission office for verification.

Selection Process consists of a Written Ability Test (WAT) and a Personal Interview. IMI Kolkata conducts the WAT test is to evaluate the articulation and technicalities of the candidate. In the personal interview, they will assess the applicant's interest in management education. Applicants who have relevant work experiences will get additional consideration.
