IRMAWAT Syllabus

IRMA does not provide any syllabus for IRMAWAT 2025. The CAT 2024/XAT 2025 scores are used by IRMA to shortlist candidates. The selected applicants are then scheduled for the IRMA Social Awareness Test,Written Abililty Test. IRMAWAT evaluates candidates’ knowledge of social issues and their inclination towards positively impacting society.

Based on previous year's IRMAWAT questions, we have compiled an IRMAWAT 2025 syllabus with important topics, which can be found below:

Indian Economy Human Rights
Social and Economic Development Rural and Urban Population
Agriculture IRDP Schemes

Women-Oriented Schemes Gender and Social Groups like Caste and Religion

To evaluate candidates' social awareness and sensitivity, the IRMAWAT syllabus covers a broad range of topics. It attempts to assess candidates' knowledge of different social issues, empathy for underrepresented groups, and inclination towards positively impacting society. The syllabus covers the following important areas:

Socio-Economic Issues

This area of study is concerned with the social and economic problems that underprivileged groups in rural areas experience. It covers issues including poverty, unemployment, inequality, the gap between rural and urban areas, and access to basic amenities.

Rural Development

Candidates must be familiar with the initiatives, policies, and programmes that have been put into place for rural development in India. This includes being aware of how government initiatives, non-governmental organisations, and community-driven development strategies function.

Environmental Issues

This topic examines the environmental concerns that are prevalent in rural areas and how they affect local communities. Climate change, deforestation, water scarcity, sustainable agriculture methods, and conservation efforts are a few examples of possible topics.

Sustainable Livelihoods

Candidates must be familiar with rural income-generation possibilities and sustainable livelihood methods. This covers an understanding of rural entrepreneurship, microfinance, and skill-building programmes.

Gender Equality

This area is concerned with gender-related issues and the difficulties that women in rural areas face. It addresses issues including gender inequality, women's empowerment, gender-based violence, and campaigns to promote inclusivity and equality for all people.

It covers topics including economic issues, rural development, environmental challenges, sustainable living, gender equality, education, healthcare, and governance.
While the IRMAWAT syllabus offers a thorough framework for exam preparation, it's also critical to get a deeper awareness of current events and societal issues.
Typically 200–300 words, written in 30 minutes.
