KEAM Pattern

The KEAM Exam Pattern is announced by the CEE Kerala combined with the official information brochure at cee.kerala.gov.in KEAM 2025. The applicants should be aware of the exam pattern before starting their preparation as it states the outline of the question paper like the mode of examination, duration, marking system, the total number of questions and other important details of the test.

  • All questions will be multiple-choice questions (MCQs), necessitating answers to be marked on the OMR sheet.
  • If a question receives more than one answer, even if one is correct, students will receive zero (0) marks. Additionally, one mark will be deducted.
  • For every incorrect answer, one (1) mark will be deducted from the total positive marks.

Marking Scheme
  • 4 for each correct response
  • -1 for each incorrect response
  • No marks for unattempted questions
  • More than one answer indicated against a question will be deemed as an incorrect response and will be awarded negative marks.

KEAM Exam contains 1 paper with three sections
Sections for Engineering: Physics, Chemistry and Maths
Sections for BPharm: Physics and Chemistry
The KEAM exam duration is 3 hours (180 mins) for Engineering and 1.5 hours (90 mins) for BPharma courses.
The KEAM 2025 exam is conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode with multiple-choice questions.
