Kristu Jayanti College Bangalore was established in 1999. The institution has been run by the “BODHI NIKETAN TRUST”, which is formed by the members of the St Joseph Province of the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI), the first primordial religious congregation in India. This congregation was a dream of an educationalist and social reformer of the nineteenth century named Saint Kuriakose Elias Chavara. Located in a calm and serene campus in K. Narayanapura in Bangalore, 11 kms away from the Vidhana Soudha in the heart of the city, this college is affiliated with Bengaluru North University and was reaccredited with a grade 'A++' in 2021 by NAAC in the third cycle of accreditation. Dedicated to excellence, the college is recognized by the UGC under category 2(f) & 12(B).
In 2013, the college received autonomous status from the University Grants Commission, the Government of Karnataka, & Bangalore University.
