Library

The Central Library at MDSU has been functioning since 1988 and is situated in a separate three-story library building named Saraswat Bhavan dedicated to reading. Computer science, environmental science, Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Economics, Food & Nutrition, Management, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Mathematics, Political Science, Philosophy, and Vedic studies are among the subjects covered by the Library. Aside from general and reference books, the library includes enough journals, reports, conference proceedings, statistics, audio-visual material, and CDs. Readers benefit from lending services, reading rooms, reference services, and so on.

Sports Facility

The institution includes distinct sports facilities for indoor and outdoor events. Indoor games such as table tennis, badminton, and carom are also available.

Hostel

MSDU Hostel is provided for boys and girls separately namely Gargi Girls Hostel, Nachiketa Boys Hostel, and Maitreyi Hostel for Working Women. The hostel provides all of the necessary amenities for its students' comfort. The hostel has a reading room, and a common room with an LCD TV, and students have access to Badminton, Volleyball, Lawn Tennis, and basketball facilities right outside the hostel.

The hostel premises are constantly monitored by CCTV and safety surveillance cameras. The hostel rooms are kept clean and safe by a 24-hour housekeeping service. The university maintains a nutritious and hygienic food quality standard.
