RV College of Engineering Management Quota Admission

R.V College of Engineering offers UG and PG level entry to the varying specializations in engineering, thus giving students a pool of options to choose from. The admissions are made on the basis of candidates' performance in the engineering entrance tests like KCET, JEE Mains and COMED-K. RV college offers admission under 12 branches of engineering. The candidates looking for admission under any of the offered branch must fulfill the required eligibility criteria put up by the college. RVCE offers admission under merit as well as management quota.

Eligibility Criteria

  • 70% marks or equivalent CGPA in 10th standard in Science & Mathematics separately.
  • 65% marks in Physics & Mathematics separately in 11th standard.
  • 60% marks in Physics & Mathematics separately in 12th standard.
  • Candidates must appear in either CET2020/ COMEDK 2020/ JEE 2020 or in any other national entrance test.
  • Candidate appearing for PG courses need 50% in graduation from any recognized institution along with a valid score in GATE/ PG-CET.

B.E (Bachelor of Engineering) is the UG level degree offered by RV college under VTU (Visvesvaraya Technological University). This is a 4 year duration course consisting of 8 semester in total wherein students will have to compulsorily attend one internship program of minimum 6 months after their final semester. The students will be granted certificate on behalf of VTU.

Management Quota Admission

Student from all over India apply for the engineering courses at RV college, thus making the competition comparatively tougher than the other engineering colleges. The students who couldn't get a seat in their desired course through merit or competitive exams can get a seat under the Management Quota. Few seats are reserved under this quota across all the specializations, so students must act quickly.

Students looking for admission under this quota needs to send the request for their desired course along with the scanned copies of 10th, 11th and 12th Score card with a mobile number to the e-mail ID rsst.rv@gmail.com. Students will be further advised by management office for the proceedings. The applicants for PG programs needs to send a scanned copy of 10th, 12th and Degree certificate (all semesters).

Nearly 75% of the seats are filled through merit while the rest is taken under management quota. The admission charges and tuition fee under the management quota differs from merit quota, generally two to three times than the general fees. Students and their parents are expected to do the needful as per the regulations of admission office to get a confirmed seat. The admission fees needs to be paid before the deadline to avoid any issues in admissions.
