MU Aizawl Placements

The Career Counseling and Placement Cell at MZU are divided into 3 independent but collaborative units.

Placement Cell: The objective of the MZU Placement Cell is to provide students with the best opportunities. The placement cell's activities include the following:

• Students receive assistance and coaching for industrial training.
• Students are informed about job opportunities in the government sector and off-campus drives.
• Create a connection between students, alumni, and the recruitment community.

Career Counseling Cell: The Career Counseling Cell provides ongoing guidance for competitive examinations, basic communication skills training, group discussion training, interview skills, aptitude tests, and so on. The career counseling cell’s activities include the following:

• Guidance on how to plan a fruitful career.
• Counseling students to help them identify their potential and stay motivated about their job prospects.
• Help students in developing their soft skills, communication abilities, and leadership qualities.

Equal Opportunity Scheme: Under the UGC Equal Opportunity Scheme, an Equal Opportunity Cell was established at Mizoram University as part of the Career Counseling Department. The scheme includes three types of coaching, which are as follows:

• UGC-NET Coaching
