Naish Eligibility Criteria

BASLP (Bachelor of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology)

This is an undergraduate academic degree and the course duration is of 4 years. Students can enroll themselves for this program upon successful completion of their 12th standard exams. The program consist of 6 semesters and the rest 2 semesters are fully dedicated for the clinical internship purpose after which graduates can practice in their own clinics or other medical establishments. This course has a very good and wide scope in the health support sector of country.

  • Those candidates who have qualified their Higher Secondary/ Pre University/ Intermediate/ Pre-degree examinations or any other equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized central or state board are eligible to apply for BASLP course at this college.
  • The subjects of study should be Physics, Chemistry & Biology along with any optional subject among Mathematics/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Statistics/ Home Science or Psychology.
  • There is no upper age limit bar but the candidates must be at least 17 years old at the time of admission in the first semester of BASLP course.
  • The candidates can also apply for lateral entry in the second year of BASLP provided they have successfully passed DHLS (Diploma in Hearing Language Speech) from any RCI (Rehabilitation Council of India) approved training college with science background.

MASLP (Master of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology)

This course is a post-graduate program which majorly deals with the management and assessment of clients with any communication disorders. This is a two-year duration program consisting of four semesters in total. The BASLP students can take up this course in order to enhance their knowledge in theoretical, clinical and research domains.

  • The candidates who have qualified BASLP/ B.Sc (Speech Language & Hearing)/ B.Sc (Speech & Hearing) or any other equivalent program from a RCI approved college.
  • The candidates must have completed one year of clinical internship

Candidates should qualify 10+2 examination or equivalent / two years of Pre-University/Pre-Degree examination with a minimum of 50% of marks and they should be 17 years of age at the time of admission.
Pass in BASLP / B.Sc. (Speech & Hearing) / B.Sc. (Speech Language & Hearing) or any other equivalent examination in India or abroad as approved by Bangalore University, followed by one year of clinical internship
