The university offers professional training that is focused on finding employment in a variety of sectors, including agriculture, horticulture, veterinary science and animal husbandry, home science, agricultural engineering, computer science, biotechnology, and fisheries. To ease the employment of departing/passed-out students from the university each year, the university has a separate wing known as the Directorate of Placement with one Director and one Deputy Director for each.
The primary goal of the university's placement cell is to connect students with various private organizations to place them in reputable global corporations, government agencies, non-profits, and the private sector. By making university facilities available to them, the university's placement cell ensures logistic support to the visiting corporations at every stage of the placement process. It serves as a conduit between the educational community and business, principally allowing students to choose from a variety of professional paths. The placement cell also works to help students develop their abilities so they can meet the demands and expectations of the competitive employment market.
In this regard, the university and Lucknow's Medha Learning Foundation have signed a memorandum of understanding to work together to train students to become successful professionals. In 2019, 81 students from the university's various colleges were chosen for campus interviews with various private companies and institutions for the positions of sales executive, sales representative, and assistant professor. The Imperial School of Agribusiness (ISAB), Ahmedabad specialists have conducted a "Career Orientation Workshop" for the UG students of the various colleges to help them build employable skills. The University signed an MoU with the Gram Unnati Foundation (GUF), New Delhi, to assist RAWE students.
