NAUJA, Assam - Fee Structure

The NLUJAA is a vibrant institution dedicated to advancing legal education. It has introduced the 'Merit Cum Means Scholarship Scheme' to address economic disparities and provide equal opportunities for economically underprivileged students pursuing the BA LLB (Hons) five-year integrated course. The scheme comprises three categories based on academic performance and financial need:

Category I

• Minimum CGPA of 7.5
• No backlog papers
• Minimum 75% attendance
• Submission of Conduct Certificate
• Family income below INR 8,00,000

Category II

• Minimum CGPA of 7.0
• No backlog papers
• Minimum 75% attendance
• Submission of Conduct Certificate
• Family income below INR 8,00,000

Category III

• Minimum CGPA of 6.5
• No more than one backlog paper
• Minimum 75% attendance (attendance exemption for valid reasons)
• Submission of Conduct Certificate
• Family income below INR 8,00,000

Endorsed certificate from state/central authority for natural disaster/accident/financial hardship The screening process involves a committee that evaluates applications, and scholarships cover annual admission fees based on available funds. Applicants must apply within specified dates and submit complete and certified documents. This scholarship scheme reflects NLUJAA's commitment to inclusive education, ensuring equitable access to legal studies for all.
