Oxford College of Engineering Admission

Admissions are available for both undergraduate and graduate programs at Oxford College of Engineering. Candidates must take the KCET or COMEDK UGET to be considered for admission to the B.Tech program at Oxford College of Engineering. Qualified candidates must appear for KCET counseling or COMEDK UGET counseling for the purpose of allocating seats following the announcement of the result and cutoff. For consideration for admission to a B.Arch program, candidates must take the JEE Main exam 2 or the NATA. The merit results of the entrance test are taken into account for the distribution of seats in accordance with the Oxford College of Engineering's admission requirements for the B.Arch program.

For the M.Tech program, the college accepts GATE/Karnataka PGCET scores. Additionally, candidates must make sure their names appear on the merit list that is made public after the entrance exam results are announced in order to participate in the Karnataka PGCET counseling. During the counseling, candidates are assigned seats. Candidates must take the Karnataka PGCET in order to be considered for admission to the M.B.A. and M.C.A. programs at Oxford College of Engineering. Following that, shortlisted candidates must show up for counseling, when seats are assigned to the candidates based on their entrance test merit scores, the availability of seats, the choices they have made, etc. However, the results of the written exam, group discussion, and personal interview are also taken into account when preparing the merit list for admission to the M.B.A. program at Oxford College of Engineering (in case of admission through KMAT).

Oxford College of Engineering Eligibility Criteria

B.E (Bachelor of Engineering): Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates must have passed PUC / 10+2 or equivalent from any recognized board or council of India.
  • Candidates should pass with physics & Mathematics along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/computer science /Biology/Electronics and English as one of the languages.
  • A minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST/ OBC candidates) should be obtained.
  • They should secure a rank in the entrance test (not applicable for NRI / foreign candidates).

B.Arch (Bachelor of Architecture): Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates must have passed PUC / 10+2 or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 50% (45% for SC/ST/ OBC candidates) marks from any recognized board or council of India.
  • Candidates who have completed 10+3 diploma examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/ OBC candidates) are also eligible to apply.
  • They should have secured a rank in national level entrance examinations, NATA and JEE Mains.

M.Tech (Master of Technology):Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates must have completed B.E. / B. Tech with a minimum aggregate of 50% (45% for SC/ST/ OBC candidates) marks from a recognized university.
  • They should have secured a rank in national level entrance examinations, GATE/ PGCET.

M.B.A (Master of Business Administration):Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates must have completed 3 years bachelor’s degree with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/ OBC candidates) in the overall course in all subjects from a recognized university.
  • They should have secured a rank in national level entrance examinations, PGCET/KMAT/MAT/CAT.

M.C.A (Master of Computer Application): Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates must have completed 3 years bachelor’s degree with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/ OBC candidates) in the overall course in all subjects from a recognized university.
  • Candidate must have studied Computer Science /Computer Applications/Computer Programming /Mathematics/ Business Mathematics/ Statistics/ as one of the Optional subjects. These subjects if not studied in the degree program, students must have had them in the PUC / 10+2 examination with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
  • They should have secured a rank in national level entrance examination PGCET.

M.C.A (Master of Computer Application - Lateral Entry): Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates must have completed Bachelor of Computer Application or Bachelor of Science with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/ OBC candidates) from a recognized university.
  • They should have secured a rank in national level entrance examination PGCET.
