The Central Library of the University has a collection of 114000 books, 190 periodicals, and 118 magazines and other resources. It has a separate section to help students prepare for any competitive examinations. Students are provided with a set of three Cards for borrowing books and the books borrowed should be returned within 15 days or else have to pay a fine.
Separate hostels are provided for men and women and admission to the rooms is based on a first-come-first-serve basis.
The health center provides outpatient services to the students, staff, non-teaching staff, visiting faculty of the University, and the surrounding cluster of villages.
SKU provides a wide range of sports facilities. The gym is equipped with the latest gymnastic and fitness gadgets. Sports facilities include shuttle badminton, table tennis, cricket, football, and chess, besides Weightlifting and mallakhamb.
