Rashtriya Sikshana Samithi Trust was started in the year 1940 with only six students by its first and only teacher, the founder Sri. M.C. Sivananda Sarma. The colleges and schools enable students to grow through every stage of education — from kindergarten to master’s degrees, and beyond.
SSMRV PU college was established in 1982 under the aegis of Rashtriya Sikshana Samithi Trust (RSST). The College started to function as an independent entity from April 1st 2002, under the guidance of its first Principal Dr B. C Vimala. The RV Trust Runs 25+ Educational Institutions like RV Institute of Engineering & Technology, RV College of Architecture, RV University, SSMRV, & Many more institutions.
At present, more than 20000 + students are pursuing their education in RV Group of Institution with 80+ full-time faculties. The college aims to motivate a lifelong interest in learning. The college inculcates ethics & morals in every student & moulds them into responsible citizens of the country. Fee details
The fee structure is based on the course combination that a student selects. The fee structure includes lab fee, exam fee, tuition fee etc. The college does not collect any donation.
The provisionally selected candidates will receive the fee structure for the course opted by them. They will also receive the online payment link on their registered email id and mobile number. There is no change in the fee structure. The fee structure is the same as that of the last academic year. Fees once paid will not be refunded. The course fee for different combination under science & commerce stream varies accordingly. The course fee is quite nominal and flexible as compared to other PU colleges.

SSMRV PU College Scholarship is provided to deserving students. The scholarship amount is fixed by the college authority and it is offered on the merit basis. This scheme has been developed to support the students in their coursework. It should be minded that the scholarship amount is applicable to the Trust fee only. Students are required to perform well and fulfill the criteria for the continuation of scholarship in the subsequent years. Scholarships are available for both the science and commerce stream with a waiver of 15% to 75% in the trust fees.
The college courses are offered under two streams namely science and commerce. Upon completion of the course under the science stream, students can opt for engineering, nursing medicine etc. Upon completion of the course under the commerce stream, students can opt for law, management, arts, commerce and many more.
