On July 10, 2017, the first academic session began with 400 students enrolled in four postgraduate, M.A. English, M.Com, M.A. Mass Communication, and MSW courses as well as two undergraduate B.Com and BMS courses. Today the University is offering a wide range of courses including an MBA, and integrated law courses such as BA LLB (Hons) and B.Com LLB (Hons), among others.
St. Xavier's University Kolkata MBA admissions for 2023-25 are now open; the application deadline is July 30. The phase 2 application deadline for PG courses (except MBA) has been extended to July 25, 2023, and the admission test (offline) will be held on July 27.
