The counselling process will start as soon as the SUAT 2024 results are announced. Candidates who have achieved the minimal cut-off scores only will be able to take part in the counselling process. To take part in the counselling process the eligible candidates will have to register themselves by paying an amount of INR 1200 as counselling fee. The counselling stage will be used for selection and admission procedures only for individuals who meet the cut-off. The eligible candidates need to undergo the counselling process to secure their required seats in their preferred course at the University.
Registration for Counseling: Eligible candidates must register on the Sharda University website for the counselling process. Based on their hobbies and academic achievements, they must indicate their preferences for courses and branches. Sharda University publishes a counselling schedule that specifies the days, times, and locations of all counselling sessions. Candidates must adhere to the schedule and show up for counselling sessions at the designated time and day.
Personal Interview: Then the successful candidates will be called to attend the personal interview round which will be held at the campus. For the MBA program, the candidates will also have to attend Group Discussion(GD) round.
Document Verification: Candidates must present their original documents and certifications for verification during the counselling process. They include documents from previous institutions, identification documents, passport-sized photos, and the SUAT scorecard.
Seat Allocation: Candidates' SUAT scores and preferences are taken into account while allocating seats. Candidates that score higher typically have a better chance of getting their desired courses and branches. There are several rounds involved in the seat allocation procedure.
Payment of Fees: After seats are assigned, applicants must pay the admissions fee to reserve their place in the designated program. The reserved seat may be cancelled if the fee is not paid within the given period.
Reporting to the University: After paying the admission fee, candidates must arrive at the university on the designated date to finish the admissions process and start their academic careers.
Waiting List: If seats are still unfilled following the first round of counselling, a waiting list is made public, and applicants on the wait list may be notified for additional rounds of counselling if seats become available.
Candidates should be well-prepared and knowledgeable about the counselling process. They should stay on track with the counselling schedule and make sure they submit all the necessary documents for verification. Candidates can improve their chances of obtaining admission through the SUAT counselling procedure to their selected programs at Sharda University by being active and well-prepared.
