Admission in Acharya Architecture College

The Acharya Institutes Bangalore admission process is hassle-free to ensure prospective students can seamlessly navigate their way towards enrollment. There are three ways to gain admission to Acharya: offline, online, and through entrance exams. The process involves completing an application form and undergoing interviews with the counsellors and principal.

Admission Procedure

Offline Admission

Entrance Exam-Based Admission

  • Appear for the relevant entrance exam
  • Meet the eligibility criteria set by the Board/University
  • Ranks published → counselling → seat allotment
  • Pay prescribed fees to the board/university
  • Visit the campus for final admission formalities

Eligibility Criteria:

Pass in 10+2 / Higher Secondary (HS) / Pre University (PUC) / 'A' Level (with 12 years of schooling) or its equivalent with English as one of the languages. Shall have secured a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate in Physics, Mathematics, and any one of the following: Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science. Also, students should have qualified in the ATA Entrance examination conducted by COA.

Selection Criteria for B.Arch Admission

  • Academic Qualification:
    • 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics
    • OR 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics
    • Minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved categories)
  • Entrance Exam Requirement:
    • Must qualify NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) with a minimum 40% aggregate score
    • JEE (Paper 2) scores may also be considered
  • Merit-Based Shortlisting:
    • Final selection is based on a merit list prepared using:
    • NATA score
    • Academic performance in qualifying exams

Required Documents

  • 10th Standard Marks Card (original + 3 self-attested copies)
  • 12th / PUC / Equivalent Exam Marks Card
  • NATA / JEE Paper 2 Score Card
  • Transfer Certificate (TC) from the last institution attended
  • Migration Certificate (for non-Karnataka students)
  • Study Certificate from a previous institution
  • Caste Certificate & Validity Certificate (if applying under reserved category via CET quota)
  • Aadhaar Card (copy)
  • Address Proof (copy)
  • Passport-size Photographs

You must apply online or offline, submit the required documents, and provide your NATA scorecard. Shortlisted candidates are admitted based on academic eligibility and NATA scores, as per CoA guidelines.

Applicants must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics as a compulsory subject and must have qualified for NATA. A minimum of 50% aggregate marks is typically required (as per CoA norms).

Admissions are taken online, offline, or through entrance exams as per the eligibility criteria.
