APS Engineering College was founded in 1997 by A.P.S. Educational Trust.
This is a private co-educational engineering and management college.
The institute is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi.
Since its inception, the college has earned a reputation in research, teaching, etc.
Students can choose from the 5 departments of engineering.
APS not only prepares students for jobs in engineering but also for the responsibilities of leadership.

Campus

APS is situated in the suburbs, 26 km from the city and has a sprawling campus within 104 acres of land. It is well connected by a fleet of buses which pick up the students from all major residential areas of the city. The campus is spread across 60 acres and houses hostel for both male and female students with separate buildings, cafeteria, with other world class amenities. The amenities include:

APS College of Engineering Admission

To take admission in this institute there are certain admission process that the students need to follow carefully. Also they need to meet certain eligibility criteria to get enroll in.

Eligibility Criteria for UG:

Candidates who qualified 10+2 with PCM as optional subjects and English as a subject of study, Or
Those who have qualified 3 years of Diploma examinations recognized by the VTU
Candidates from outside Karnataka are required to obtain Eligibility Certificate from VTU, Belgaum.
They must qualify the aptitude test i.e. KCET or JEE, with pass percentage in 10+2 standard of examination with PCM
They should secure 50% marks in the qualifying exam.
For Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes and any other groups classified by the Government of Karnataka, students who have scored 45% marks in the qualifying examination are eligible.

Acharya Patashala College Fees

APS College of Engineering Hostel

APS College of Engineering Hostel facility is given to male students.
The hostel can accommodate 150 students at a time
It is provided on the first-come-first-serve basis due to limited number of seats
Facilities for leisure like General Library, Entertainment Centre, Indoor and Outdoor Sports and gymnasium is provided.
The students are given the basic amenities like: well-furnished rooms, 24 hour water, bed, table, etc.
Mess facilities are provided to the students with a common dining room where both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes are served.
Single, double and triple occupancy rooms are given to students depending on their budget.
