With a vibrant city campus in the heart of Bangalore, Atria Institute of Technology Admission offers UG, PG and doctoral programs in the field of engineering, business and management studies.

Admissions are offered for both Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) programs:

  • UG Admissions are based on ranks secured in COMEDK or KEA (CET).
  • PG Admissions require a valid PGCET rank (MBA, MCA, M.Tech).
  • Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by VTU and the Government of Karnataka.
  • Applications can be submitted online or offline.
  • Seats are allotted based on merit, entrance exam scores, and counselling procedures.

AIT Bangalore has a dedicated admissions department managed by one admission officer along with a number of staffs to handle the procedures. The staffs are very helpful to help out the students during the processes. This department ensures a transparent intake of students. The candidates can apply through online as well as offline for their respective degree program.

BE (Bachelor of Engineering):

The students are provided with nine specializations under the BE program. Those candidates who have qualified 10+2/ PUC/ Intermediate (or any equivalent exam) from recognized state or central board with a minimum of 45% marks in the science stream are eligible to apply for the AIT Admission. The students belonging to OBC, SC/ ST are required with a minimum of 40% in the same for meeting the eligibility criteria.

The students can seek admissions through-

  • KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test) conducted by KEA, Karnataka Examination Authority
  • COMEDK (Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges) UGET
  • Management Quota

The admissions to the various courses are based on the rank obtained by individual candidates in the above mentioned KCET or COMEDK entrance exams. The marks obtained in the 10+2 exams are not calculated to carry out the merit list.

Note: The College also offers lateral entry for the BE programs in the second year or third semester. The minimum eligibility criteria require 45% marks in Diploma or other equivalent exams. The KCET can be taken by the candidates who are domiciled in Karnataka for 7 years or more

M-Tech (Master of Technology):

The Candidates who have accomplished BE can apply for three specializations under the PG program. The appearing candidates must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in BE/ B-Tech to meet the eligibility criteria. In case of the reserved category (SC/ ST or OBC), a minimum of 45% marks is required.

The graduates can seek admission through valid score in-

  • PGCET (Post Graduate Common Entrance Test), Karnataka
  • Management Quota

The students applying for admissions under PG program can appear for PGCET in offline mode. The PGCET can be taken by the students domiciled in Karnataka for 7 years or more.

MBA (Master of Business Administration):

The candidates looking for admission in MBA must have a Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years with at-least 60% marks in aggregate whereas the reserved category are required with 55% marks. The candidates can apply through a common entrance exam, PGCET conducted by the KEA. Under the management quota admissions, the students are expected to produce a valid score in CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ PGCET or KMAT.

Master of Computer Applications (MCA):

This program offers a comprehensive understanding of computing principles and their applications across engineering, science, and humanities. It blends theoretical foundations with hands-on experience in modern tools and technologies. The program will equip students with skills aligned to emerging industry trends. Graduates pursue successful careers in top companies or advance to higher studies and research at prestigious institutions in India and abroad, reflecting the program’s academic strength and practical relevance.
