BA LLB College Admission Process

Bangalore has quite famous BA LLB colleges around the city. The education is as per the contemporary industry standards. Students can customize their courses. Any student can find their desired course in Bangalore. The BA LLB admission criteria vary with the colleges. Some college give preference to Common Law Admission Test and some other conduct their own entrance test.

BA LLB Admission Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidate must have finished their 10+2 from a recognized board of education in India.
  • Minimum aggregate of 45 % marks in the qualifying examination
  • SC/ST with an aggregate of 40 % in 10+2 from recognized board in India.
  • Then students should fill the respective college’s admission form.

BA LLB Application Process:

  • Student must visit the college's official website.
  • Click the “Application Form”.
  • Students are required to fill out the personal information.
  • Enter the academic details.
  • Upload the photograph and signature.
  • Pay the application fee via ATM card or bank Challan.
  • Different colleges might require sending the supporting documents to their admission department

BA LLB Entrance Exam:

AILET – This is a national level examination. The scores are widely accepted throughout India. The exam covers general knowledge, Reasoning, English, Mathematics and Legal Aptitude topics.

CLAT – This is a law entrance examination. The scores are widely accepted throughout India. The exam covers general knowledge, Reasoning, English, Mathematics and Legal Aptitude topics.

LSAT –This is a paper pen examination. The scores are widely accepted throughout India. The exam covers Analytical thinking, logical reasoning and reading comprehension topics.

If you are in grades 11 or 12, you can take the Common Law Entrance Exam (CLAT) and enroll in a five-year B.A. LL.B. or related law program at a law school.

If you already have a bachelor's degree, you can enroll in a three-year law program.

When applying for any Law program, applicants must request the following documents:

If you already have a law degree, you can skip this step. The 9th or 6th-semester transcript is required for final-year law students. (CV) (some colleges ask for it)

The Bar Council of India does not accept distance law degrees (BCI).
To be admitted to an LLM program, candidates must have either a five-year integrated LLB degree or a three-year LLB degree from a recognized law college or university, according to the LLM eligibility requirements (BCI regulations for legal education in India).
