BGSBU Admissions
Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University Admission 2024 to all programs (Except B.Sc. Nursing) is conducted through the Central University Entrance Test (CUET) to be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The university provides programs in the fields of Engineering, Management, Sciences, Humanities, and Education, It offers a wide range of UG, PG, M.Phil, and Ph.D programs at the research level, along with various Diploma courses in different disciplines. Candidates are evaluated based on their Written Test, Presentation, and Interview performance. Admission is made on a Merit basis for selection, and reservations are applicable as per government norms.
How to Apply for BGSBU 2024
Follow these steps to apply for UG, PG, and Research courses at BGSBU:
- Visit the official website of BGSBU, Rajouri.
- Go to the 'Admissions' section.
- Click on 'Admission Application Form' and download it.
- Fill in the application form.
- Make a Demand Draft of INR 1000 in favor of Registrar, BGSBU, Rajouri, payable at J&K Bank, BGSB University Campus, Rajouri.
- Submit the filled application form along with the Demand Draft and necessary documents to the specified address.

Eligibility Criteria
- Eligibility for bachelor courses requires completion of 10+2 studies in relevant subjects.
- Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks to qualify for the B.Ed course.
- For admission to postgraduate courses, applicants need a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Admission to M.Phil and Ph.D. programs requires a Master’s degree in the relevant discipline with at least 55% marks or an equivalent from a recognized university.
- Admission will be based on a combined merit of scores from the Entrance Test and the qualifying examination.
- Admission to the MBA program will depend on the score obtained in CMAT / CAT / MAT, followed by GD-PI.
- For M.Phil and Ph.D. programs, admission will be based on performance in a Written Test conducted by the university, as well as a Presentation and Interview.
