CHARUSATA, the non-profit premier trust in India, is the home of multiple institutes. In 1994, Kelavani Mandal was founded to use education to deliver social services. The social history of the group spans more than 125 years. A social revolution was sparked by the main group, Shri Charotar Moti Sattavis Leuva Patidar Samaj- Matrusanstha, who are renowned for initiating mass marriages in the Patidar community on a large scale. The University Grants Commission (UGC) received an application to be recognized as a "Deemed to be University." Similar pleas for the formation of a State Private University were made to the government of Gujarat. The Gujarati government began to receive the request.

• In 2022, CHARUSAT received an A+ accreditation from the NAAC. It is India's 22nd-best university overall.
• The Charotar University of Science and Technology (CHARUSAT) was the recipient of the GESIA IT Awards' best digital transformation in the field of education. The university received a nomination in the digital transformation of the education sector out of 14 categories. In the ceremony held as part of the exciting startup and technology Summit, CHARUSAT won the prize. CHARUSAT has won the GESIA IT award for the past two years in a row.
• It is approved by the University Grants Commission [UGC], Pharmacy Council of India [PCI], Indian Nursing Council [INC], All India Council of Technical Education [AICTE], and Pharmacy Council of India [PCI].
• The FICCI Excellent Award has been granted to CHARUSAT University.
• The CEE Excellence Award for Teaching and Learning was given to the university.KCG awarded the university an A grade, while the IIT-sponsored National Program for Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) gave the university an AA.
• The Green Campus Award was given to the university.
