Christ University School of Law has a rich legacy as part of Christ University, Bengaluru, which was founded and is administered by the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI), the first indigenous Catholic religious congregation in India. Established on foundations laid by the visionary St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara in 1969, Christ University has always focused on academic excellence, service, and holistic development. The School of Law itself was established in 2006 as Christ College of Law under Bangalore University and became a constituent department of Christ University in 2008. Christ Law College Hostel includes 8 buildings that are segregated according to the gender. The hostel provides accommodation in sharing and single rooms to graduate and undergraduate students for non-resident students. The college provides ample facilities to the students for their smooth and homely stay till their study period in the form of gym, library, 24- hour security. Food is not available in the hostel but students can avail the facilities from the cafeteria and other eateries present on the campus. Students are provided with a common kitchen with induction and oven where they can warm food.
