The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) of the Ministry of Human Resource Development ranks Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) 44th among Indian universities, up from 62 in 2020. One of the components of the "Make in India Program" is the "Advanced Centre for Atmospheric Radar Research (ACARR)" at CUSAT. 13 foreign universities and the Cochin University of Science and Technology have signed memorandums of understanding (MoUs) regarding research projects, internships, and student exchanges. Cochin University of Science and Technology Courses are provided in Applied Science, Technology, Industry, Commerce, Management, and Social Sciences offered by CUSAT. The university offers BTech, BBA LLB, BCom LLB, LLB, BVoc, MTech, MBA, MA, MSc, MCA, LLM, MPhil, and Ph.D. as its academic programs. The Cochin University Of Science And Technology Hostel has fourteen hostels to accommodate this demand. Each hostel has a minimum of one assistant warden, who is a faculty member, two to four sweeper-cum-cleaners, one manager (for the boys' hostel), or matron (for the girls' hostel). As the head of the Central Office for University Hostels, the CHIEF WARDEN is responsible for managing the staff mentioned above, responding to the sporadic needs of the students, and assisting with the general administration of all these hostels. As residential units, hostels promote community living and offer security to students who are unable to live alone or even in small groups in strange places. The Central Office for University Hostels is in charge of 14 hostels. Of the 14, there are six hostels for girls and eight for boys. This office has direct control over all 13 of these hostels. Every hostel has adequate ventilation and is surrounded by greenery. Every hostel has a mess hall, TV, playgrounds, and other amenities.
