For National Students: As it is well known that certain courses are professional which are guided by the Notification which Government keep issuing from time to time. These are applicable to Indian students on some particular professional courses and thus they are expected to be well aware of it as it specifies the entrance exam which should be qualified by the students to get admission in their desired professional course. Depending on the nature of the course the entrance exam can be either conducted by the Government or the College itself.

For International Students: As the International students belong to their native country universities for their previous education therefore they are supposed to get an equivalent certificate issued in their favor by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi or any other if applicable. A copy of which should be attached with other documents like DOB, Passport, certificates, etc.the college makes an extra effort to help students get this done.

The college offers almost all crucial courses which could be general or professional of different kinds like undergraduates & masters programs in Arts, science & commerce apart from other programs, at different levels.

There are different eligibility criteria and different merit levels for different courses offered. College provides students for evening batch as well but the eligibility criteria remain the same for both day and evening students.

Eligibility criteria for Bachelor Courses

Equivalent examination in which PCB / CBZ (Chemistry should be compulsory)
B.A Journalism Pass in PUC/CBSE/ISCE/10+2

Any other examination which would be recognized as equivalent to PUC Board of Karnataka
Bachelor in Fashion & Apparel Design(B.Sc F.A.D) Pass in PUC/CBSE/ISCE/10+2
||OR||
Any other examination which would be recognized as equivalent with a minimum 35% marks in aggregate.
BCA Pass in PUC/10+2 or any equivalent examination in Science, Arts or Commerce stream in which one should have minimum of 35% marks
||OR||
Candidate who has done JODC or Diploma in Engineering (of three years duration of Govt. of Karnataka) and has secured a minimum of 35% marks in aggregate in all the semesters/years.
B.Com, BBM Pass in PUC/CBSE/ISCE/10+2 or any other equivalent examination.

The eligibility criteria for Master courses are also derived on the same line with required and applicable Bachelor degree. Dayananda Sagar college of arts and commerce Fee Structure are set according to the standards and vary from course to course but the management helps the students to deal with the fee in a convenient way by providing them an option to pay the fee in installments as well.
