The college offers BE program across seven disciplines including ECE, CSE, ME, CE, ISE, EEE and TCE. The engineering courses are offered for duration of four years. The CSE, ECE, ME branches are open for admission with an intake capacity of 120 seats and the rest with a capacity of 60 seats each.
Those candidates who have completed 10+2/ PUC/ intermediate or any other equivalent exams with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate in physics, maths and chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science/ Biology with English as one the language in study conducted by any authorized central or state board of education. The candidates from SC/ ST or OBC background are required with a minimum of 40% marks in their qualifying exams to meet the minimum eligibility criteria.
The candidates should have qualified either in the CET (Common Entrance Test), Karnataka or COMED-K(Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka) besides obtaining the minimum eligibility criteria for the section criteria.
The college also offers a degree in masters of technology across few specializations. The candidates looking for enrolment under the master’s program should have scored a minimum of 50% marks in their respective bachelor programs. The candidates can also seek admission through the PGCET conducted by Karnataka.
DBIT offers a degree program in MBA with dual specialization with an annual intake capacity of 60 seats. The MBA degree is provided by the college in behalf of Bangalore University and VTU. The students can choose the university from where they want their degree. The appearing candidates shall have scored a minimum of 50% marks in their graduation degree to meet the minimum eligibility criteria. In case of SC/ ST or OBC, the minimum required eligibility criteria is 45% marks. The students appearing for MBA are required to clear KMAT, CMAT, PGCET or MAT exams.
