Dr.APG Abdul Kalam University offers courses in UG, PG, and PhD programs with several specializations. The university considers National Entrance Exam scores for admissions to a few of its courses while admissions for the remaining courses are based on the scores of the previous degree or qualifying exam. For B.Tech admissions, the university considers JEE Main score and for B.Arch, admissions are based on JEE Main /NATA score. For Post-graduate courses like M.Tech and M.Arch, scores of GATE and GPAT respectively are considered. Students have to clear the CMAT for MBA admissions at the university. Candidates who wish to enroll in the UG /PG Diploma programs are selected based on their previous academic merit.
To start with, apply online at the university's official website. Complete the online application form by entering all of the relevant information and upload the necessary documents as soft copies. Once the details are filled in, select the program for which you want to apply. Pay the application fee using a credit/debit card or through net banking and submit the application form.
Candidates who submit their application forms before the deadline will be issued an admit card. Take the entrance Test on the date given on your admission card. Results will be out on the official website of the university and candidates can view them by entering their login details.
After passing the entrance exam, candidates will be contacted for an interview or group discussion. The candidate's overall score from the entrance exam and the interview determines his/her admission.
