AKU Indore, also known as Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam University, was established in 2016 with the goal of providing high-quality education in various fields including performing arts, humanities, social sciences, science, and technology. Since its establishment, the University's great academic legacy has drawn the brightest students, many of whom go on to make significant contributions to society. AKU Indore has more than 1,500 students and more than 150 academic members spread across all of its campuses. The university provides more than 20 UG, PG, certificate, and Ph.D. programs in various fields.

Approvals for Courses:

• The university and the courses in it are recognized by the Association of the Universities of Asia and the Pacific and it is also a member of AUAP.
• It is approved by the Association of Indian Universities and also a member of the same.
• The pharmacy courses at the university are approved by the Pharmacy Council of India and the Law studies are approved by the Bar Council of India.
• The College Of Architecture is approved by the Council of Architecture
• Also, the College of Professional Studies which provides B.Ed course is approved by the National Council For Teacher Education ( NCTE ).
