Dr. T Thimaiah Institute of Technology Admission to B.E 1st Year

KEA Eligibility Criteria (Government Seats):

• Candidates who have qualified 10+2 standard with PCM along with Bio-Technology/ Biology/ Electronics/ Computer as optional subjects and English as a subject of study, Or
• They should secure 45% marks in the qualifying exam.
• For Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes and any other groups classified by the Government of Karnataka, students who have scored 40% marks in the qualifying examination are eligible.

Documents Required:

• 10th marksheet
• 2nd PUC/ 12th mark sheet
• Study Certificate from 1st to 12th Standards
• Students belonging to Rural quota: - Rural Study Certificate from 1st to 10th std, for Ten Complete Years.
• If claiming Kannada Medium quota: Kannada Medium Study Certificate from 1st to 10th std, for Ten Complete Years.
• Caste income certificate- SC/ ST in Form-D, Category-I in form E and 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B in Form F.

KEA Eligibility Criteria (Management Quota Seats):

• Candidates who qualified 10+2 with PCM along with Bio-Technology/ Biology/ Electronics/ Computer as optional subjects and English as a subject of study, Or
• They should secure 45% marks in the qualifying exam.• They should secure 45% marks in the qualifying exam.
• For Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and any other groups classified by the Government of Karnataka, students who have scored 40% marks in the qualifying examination are eligible.
• Candidates from over all India who have all the above criteria can enroll directly in the Dr. T Thimaiah Institute of Technology.
• They do not require any entrance exam.

• Mark sheet from 1st to 12th Standards
• Caste income certificate- SC/ ST in Form-D, Category-I in form E and 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B in Form F.

• Migration Certificate (Only for Outside Karnataka Students)

M-Tech Machine Design Eligibility Criteria (Government Seats):

• Candidates who have cleared Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering/ Industrial & Production Engineering/ Automobile Engineering/ Manufacturing Engineering/ Industrial Engineering & Mgmt. with a minimum of 50% marks are eligible.
• For reserved category the minimum marks required is 45%.
• For enrolment to Dr. T Thimaiah Institute of Technology Course (M-Tech), candidates need to qualify entrance exams like GATE/ CET.
• Caste income certificate- SC/ ST in Form-D, Category-I in form E and 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B in Form F.
• Clear AMIE in the appropriate branch.
