To prepare for the GMAT exam, candidates should first check the syllabus of GMAT 2025. This new section is driven by the growing importance of data literacy in today’s business and economic landscape. Candidates will be assessed on their ability to analyse, translate, and filter data to derive meaningful insights. This section tests data analysis, verbal reasoning, and mathematical skills. Candidates have 45 minutes to answer 20 questions and can use the on-screen calculator.
Data sufficiency, graphic interpretation, and table analysis: Evaluate whether data is sufficient and interpret graphical or tabular data representations.
Two-part analysis and multi-source reasoning: Solve complex problems with multiple factors and extract insights from multiple data sources.
