IIHMRU Jaipur Admission

IIHMR University, formerly known as the Institute of Health Management Research, is a famous university in India with an emphasis on health management, research, and training. It was established in 1984 and is located in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The IIHMR University offers a variety of graduate and doctoral degrees. Rural management, health information technology, hospital management, pharmaceutical management, and public health are among the areas of study that the institution focuses on. Among the programs offered are a Master of Public Health (MPH) program, doctoral programs in several disciplines, and Master of Business Administration (MBA) degrees in Hospital and Health Management, Rural Management, and Pharmaceutical Management.

Although the entrance standards for each program differ, the University uses a strictly competitive and merit-based selection procedure to choose candidates for its postgraduate and doctorate research degrees. It comprises a written aptitude exam, a discussion in a group, and an individual interview. They evaluate each applicant in light of their ability to learn, intellectual stamina, and personal background.

Eligibility Criteria: A graduate from any field with at least 50% overall [45% or more for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD] or an equivalent level of education (CGPA).

Application: Interested candidates need to fill out the application form available on the IIHMR University website or through the offline mode by visiting the campus.

Entrance Exam: IIHMR University conducts its entrance exam, which includes sections on general aptitude, logical reasoning, quantitative ability, English language proficiency, and subject-specific knowledge, depending on the program. Alternatively, the university accepts scores from national-level entrance exams like CAT, MAT, CMAT, and XAT.

Group Discussion and Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates based on the entrance exam scores are invited for a group discussion and personal interview round. This round evaluates the candidate's communication skills, leadership potential, problem-solving abilities, and subject knowledge.

Final Selection: The final selection is based on multiple factors, such as entrance exam scores, group discussion, personal interview performance, past academic records, and work experience (if applicable).

Admission Offer and Acceptance: Candidates selected for admission will receive an admission offer from IIHMR University. To secure their seat, they must pay the prescribed admission fee within the given timeline.

The candidate's ultimate selection is determined by how well he or she has performed on the qualifying test, which includes the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI), as well as proportional scores on the CAT, XAT, NMAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA, GMAT, and IIHMR-U MAT. Important Dates for IIHMRU-MAT/GDPI

• From November 22 through December 31, IIHMRU-MAT will be held on the first, third, and fifth Saturdays of each month.
• Starting on January 23, a general interview procedure (GD-PI) for applicants who have passed the IIHMR UMAT or have a valid score from any national-level MBA entrance exam will be held on the first, third, and fifth Saturdays of each month.
• The MBA program acceptance date is July 31, 2023, provided there are still seats available.
• Each program has a set maximum number of seats. Depending on the number of seats available, qualified candidates will be allowed admission on a first-come, first-served basis.
• The program will begin in the first week of August 2023.
