Application Process

Interested candidates who are ready to apply for the entrance exam can only do it through the designated online application portal. They can submit the IIIT Hyderabad UGEE application for the year only in online. Submissions sent by email, fax, or any other method will be regarded as invalid and not be taken into consideration for admission. Candidates must follow the instructions carefully in order for their applications to be accepted as valid and eligible for review. The steps involved in the application process are listed below

Registration

The applicants will have to register by providing their basic details to get their login credentials to access the application form.

Application Form filling

The applicants are required to fill out their application form or IIITH UGEE 2024 once they have successfully registered. The information that are to be filled in the application form are personal details, academic details and communication details of the exam-taking candidates.

Payment of application fees

Candidates must proceed to the payment section of the online application portal. The fee can be paid using various online modes, such as debit cards, credit cards, or net banking.

Candidates will receive a confirmation of the fee payment once the payment has been processed successfully, and the payment confirmation will appear on the candidate's application site. It is advised that you take a print of this confirmation for future reference.

Submitting of application form

Candidates are advised to go over the application form after successfully paying the application fee. They should look through all the information on the form in detail. The "submit" button can be selected by candidates if all the data is correct and complete. It is crucial to print out the completed application form after submitting it for future use.

Eligibility Criteria

Nationality: Both Indian national and international students were eligible to apply.

Age Restrictions: There is no age restriction mentioned by the exam conducting board for the UGEE.

Education Qualification: The applicants should have passed or taken the final examination of the 10+2 (or equivalent) board examination from a recognized educational board. Candidates from any stream (Science, Commerce, or Arts) are eligible to apply.

Mandatory subjects: It is mandatory that the candidates should have studied Physics and Mathematics as a compulsory subject in their 10+2. Additionally, the individuals should also have taken one of the following courses: computer science, chemistry, biology, or biotechnology.

Admit Cards

• Candidates must download their admit card from the official website in order to enter the examination hall. The candidates' name, picture, roll number, exam date, time, and testing place are all included in this admit card, which acts as a necessary pass. It also provides other important information about the students.
• On the day of the exam, candidates must carry their admit card with them because it serves as an official identity document and authorizes them to take the test.
