IIITH UGEE Pattern

The International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Hyderabad sets the exam pattern for UGEE and released it on the official website for reference. The exam-taking candidates should take a look at the exam pattern to become familiar with the layout and format of the entrance exam. Familiarizing themselves with the IIITH UGEE exam pattern will aid candidates in preparing effectively for UGEE 2025.

The Subject Proficiency Test (SUPR) and the Research Aptitude Test (REAP) are the two sections of the admission test. Candidates will be able to improve their preparation and perform better on the IIITH UGEE exam 2025 if they are aware of the test structure. They will gain significant knowledge about the structure of the examination through this, which will enable them to plan their study methods accordingly.

b) REAP – Research Aptitude test There will be negative marking of 25% in both the sections. 120 minutes.
  • The exam will be administered in an online computer-based mode at different test centres.
  • In the examination, you will be provided with multiple-choice questions with four possible answers for each candidate. Candidates must choose the right response for each question from among these possibilities.
  • The UGEE question paper is split into two sections
    • SUPR – Subject Proficiency test
    • REAP – Research Aptitude test
  • The time allotted to complete each section is different for SUPR is 1 hour and for REAP is 2 hours.
  • In total, the exam will take place for 3 hours. It is advised for the candidates to complete the paper within the given time as no extra time will be given to complete the paper.
  • Negative marking is given only for section B which is for REAP (Research Aptitude Test)section which is -0.5 marks for each incorrect answer.

The UGEE exam paper has two sections.
The time given to complete section a is 60 minutes and for section b is 120 minutes.
There will be negative marking of 25% in both the sections.
