Admission Criteria for Bachelor of Dental Surgery:

  • Minimum qualification required: PUC 2nd year/12th Std/Equivalent Examination with English as the mandatory subject.
  • Need to qualify the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) based on NEET Score and Neet Percentile.
  • Need to score a minimum of 50% as aggregate in Chemistry, Physics & Biology *(40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates & 45% for candidates who are Physically disabled)
  • The SC/ST/OBC category eligibility criteria is applicable only for Karnataka origin candidates (when application is done via Karnataka State Quota).

Admission Criteria for Bachelor of Dental Surgery:

  • BDS DEGREE obtained from any university established by Law of India recognized by the DCI or Dental Council of India and Government of India (GOI).
  • Qualifying the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) based on a prescribed minimum score in NEET -PG/NEET MDS
  • The candidate must have completed the 'Compulsory Rotating Internship' or should be completing it on or before 31st March of the year he/she is taking admission.
  • The OBC/SC/ST category candidate’s eligibility criteria are applicable only for Karnataka origin candidates (when application is done via Karnataka State Quota).
  • For in-service candidates the age limit is 48 and no age limit for non-service candidate.
  • Candidates, who have a Dental Degree from outside India, should have qualified in the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) - Screening Test will be conducted by the National Board of Education/DCI.
