Flat screens for presentations, internet connectivity, single-desk power outlets, and screen projectors are all included in modern classrooms. To improve the hybrid teaching-learning experience, JGU has installed speaker tracking cameras in the campus classrooms.

Library

Over 70000 print books and a wide range of electronic resources are housed in the library's collection. The print collection consists of books, monographs, research reports, legal reports, back issues of journals, etc. Reference Collection includes an extensive collection of encyclopaedias, dictionaries, directories, handbooks, and laws as well as subordinate legislation, case law digests, and multi-volume treatises on specific subjects.

Student’s Common Room

The student’s common room which is located in different blocks of the University Halls of Residence has indoor sports facilities like Snooker table, Pool table, Foosball table, Table Tennis table, etc. For playing movies, television shows, presentations, music, etc., the common rooms are furnished with large projection screens.

Student Clubs & Societies

JGU has over 50 clubs and societies which are student-run organisations. Some of the clubs are

• JGU Film Society- The Society typically shows two movies every month, and over the years, it has shown up to 40 or 50 films.
• Music Society- students interested to be a member of this society has to undergo audition which are headed and judged by the faculty.

Sports

The Department of Physical Education of JGU provides state-of-the-art facilities in Cricket, Basketball, Football, Badminton (Indoor), Volleyball, Table Tennis, Chess and Carrom, Swimming, etc. The state-of-the-art gymnasium has an internationally recognised trainer. It is equipped with equipments like treadmills, cross trainers, spinners, strength stations etc.

Hostels

The University Hall of Residence for students consists of separate blocks of buildings for male and female students. The rooms are aesthetically furnished and are designed by a French architect.
