PESIT Entrance Exam

PES (Peoples Education Society) Scholastic Aptitude Test called PESSAT is a part of the PES University admissions process. PESIT Bangalore Entrance Exam needs to be taken by all students who are applying for any program at PES University.

Those students seeking admission to engineering programs need to note that PESSAT will be conducted on different dates in the month of May 2017 at various locations across the country. Students can click on https://pes.edu/pessat/test-centres/ to see the various Test Centers in Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Gujarat, J&K, Jharkhand, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, New Delhi, Orissa, Punjab/ Haryana, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal. If the test center gets cancelled for any reason, then the college will allocate the secondary test center option which was assigned by the student at the time of registration for PESSAT.

The eligibility criteria of students to appear for PESSAT, is a 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics in 12th Std or equivalent. PESSAT can be also attempted only once by the candidate for the given academic year & if students are caught violating this rule they will be debarred from the selection process itself.

If a candidate has appeared for the Karnataka Examination Authority ( KEA) conducted Common Entrance Test ( CET) apart from PESSAT, & gets selected through CET, he can surrender the PESSAT seat & opt for seat allotted through CET. The extra money paid by the candidate will either be refunded or adjusted against the total fees payable in this case.
