The eligibility and selection criteria for each department is given below,
School of Engineering
Eligibility:
- Pre-University / Higher Secondary /10+2 examination Pass with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with either Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational subject.
- Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to Reserved Category) in the above subjects taken together.
- Appeared for JEE (Main); JEE (Advanced); Karnataka CET; COMED-K; PUEET-2023 or any other State-level Engineering Entrance Examination
Selection Criteria:
- Candidates are required to appear for the Presidency University Bangalore evaluation test followed by a personal interview in addition to standard eligibility criteria.
- Admissions team also uses scholastic and extra-curricular records.
School of Law
Eligibility Criteria:
- Pre-University / Higher Secondary /10+2 examination Pass from a recognized board, Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to Reserved Category) in the 10+2 board exam.
- Appeared for CLAT/LSAT or PULAT(Presidency University Law Admission Test).
- The maximum age limit for candidates is 20 years as on the 1st of July of the year of Admission(22 years in case of candidates belonging to reserved category).
Selection Criteria:
- Candidates are required to appear for the Presidency University evaluation test followed by the personal interview in addition to standard eligibility criteria.
- Admissions team also uses scholastic and extra-curricular records.
School of Management
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of Candidate belonging to Reserved Category) in aggregate from a Recognised University
- A high score in a National- Level Management Aptitude Test [CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT/ATMA/KMAT] & any other National Examination.
- Work Experience, if any.
Selection Criteria
- Candidates are required to appear for the Personal Interview Process in Person or through Skype which will consist of Oral Extempore Presentation and Personal Interview
- Other parameters such as scholastic and extracurricular record and work experience add weightage for admission.
- The final selection of the candidate will be based on the overall performance in the Interview Process
