Patiala University Fee Structure

Scholarship 1

• Deserving students can receive merit scholarships through the National Merit Scholarship Schemes, which are supported by the center and state governments.
• The Government of India National Loan Scholarships Scheme offers Loan Scholarships to eligible students.
• Under the State Harijan Welfare Scheme, scholarships, stipends, and fee concessions are provided to students in Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and other Backward classes, as per the applicable guidelines.
• Punjabi University awards Merit Scholarships based on the results of its conducted examinations.
• Children and grandchildren of Freedom Fighters, former I.N.A. employees, and students sponsored by the Punjab Charitable Endowment Treasurer are all given stipends.
• Holders of the U.G.C. Post-graduate Merit Scholarship for General and Honours Courses at the undergraduate level are determined by their university's ranking.

Scholarship 2

For post-graduate courses including B.Pharm, B.Tech, and LL.B. at the University Teaching Departments, when applicable, scholarships worth Rs. 500 per month are offered. Details are as follows:

• Each course will have at least one scholarship awarded based on merit.
• The departmental merit scholarship will be given to the top-ranked student during admission based on merit. In the subsequent year(s), it will be awarded based on the annual examination results, provided the course duration is more than one year.
• The scholarship amount will be disbursed on a quarterly basis through the Head of the Department. The Head of the Department will prepare the necessary bill(s) and provide an attestation that the scholarship awardee/claimant has maintained satisfactory attendance and conduct during that period.
