RNTU offers various undergraduate courses including BE, BA, BA (Hons), B.Com., B.Com (Hons), BCA, B.Sc., B.Sc. (Hons), B.Ed, B.P.Ed, BPT, B.Lib, BBA, BMLT, and LL.B in different fields. To be eligible for these courses, you need to have passed 10+2 in the relevant subject group, except for B.Ed, B.P.Ed, B.Lib, and LLB courses, which require a Bachelor's degree.
RNTU provides postgraduate courses in full-time mode at the PG level, including M.Tech, MA, M.Com., M.Sc, LL.M, MBA, M.Ed, MHM, MSW, M.Lib., MPH, and MPT. To get admission, you need to have a Bachelor's degree in the relevant discipline as the minimum eligibility criteria.
RNTU offers full-time B.Voc, M.Voc, and Ph.D. courses in different streams at the Doctorate level. For B.Voc, candidates who have passed 12th in any stream or have completed 10th and a 2-year ITI or Polytechnic Diploma are eligible. For M.Voc, candidates should have a graduation degree or a degree in Electronics from a recognized university. Ph.D. programs require a Master's degree in the relevant discipline with 55% marks (50% marks for reserved categories) from a recognized university and should have a qualified AJEE.
Step-by-step admission process
- Go to the official website and click on the 'Admissions' tab.
- Fill in all the required information in the form.
- If the course needs an entrance exam, choose your preferred exam center and select the mode of examination (online or offline, if applicable).
- Upload your photograph and pay the INR 500 application fee online.
- You can use Net banking, debit card, or credit card for the payment.
- After submitting the form, you will receive an SMS with your final accepted application/registration number.
Selection process
- The University's website will provide qualifying candidates with information about the date, time, and venue of the Admission Procedure, which may include written tests, group discussions, interviews, or direct admission.
- Direct admission will be conducted based on the Merit list derived from the received forms.
- The list of selected candidates will be prominently displayed on the University website, and they will also receive an email notifying them of their selection.
- Candidates will receive an SMS on their mobile number, indicating their selection and providing the deadline for document verification and fee submission.
- Communication regarding the admission process will be exclusively through email and SMS; no other forms of communication will be used.
- Non-payment of the fee within the specified date or failure to report for classes after fee payment will result in the cancellation of admission.
