Rajasthan JET Counselling

The Rajasthan Joint Entrance Test (JET) 2024 counselling process is a critical phase for students seeking admission to agriculture and allied courses in Rajasthan.

The counselling process involves several stages, including registration, choice filling, seat allotment, and document verification. Candidates who have qualified the JET 2024 must register online and select their preferred colleges and courses. Based on their ranks and preferences, seats are allocated. Once a seat is allotted, candidates must report to the respective institutes for document verification and payment of fees to confirm their admission.

The entire process is aimed at ensuring a fair and transparent allocation of seats to meritorious students.

After this, the opening of the option form for main online counselling will begin on July 1, 2024. The last date for form filling out the counselling form is July 7, 2024.

Filling out the online Application Form for Counselling

Candidates who have taken the JET exam are eligible to fill out the online counselling option form. For this process, a fee of Rs. 5000 is payable (plus any applicable bank fees). If a candidate is allotted a college, they need to pay an acceptance fee of Rs. 1000/- (plus bank charges if applicable) to secure the allotted seat. Out of the total payments of Rs. 6000, which were paid online, Rs. 5000 will be applied to college fees, while Rs. 1000 (which is non-refundable) will be held by the JET office as counselling fees. Candidates need to prepare a list of preferred colleges, the order of choices, and scanned copies of any required documents. After submission, no changes can be made except during the stipulated editing periods.

First Counselling

Candidates are lined up for seat allocation in the first counselling round according to the reservation roster and JET scores. When there is a tie in the scores marks obtained in 12th and 10th grades, followed by age are considered.

Reporting in the institutions

Candidates who have paid the online fee and accepted the seat offer are required to report to the university on the designated day. They must carry original documents and self-attested copies, including mark sheets, domicile certificates, reservation certificates, self-declaration (if applicable), income certificates, passport photos, and fee deposition.

The counselling process involves registration, document verification, seat allocation, acceptance of the allocated seat and reporting to the allocated institution.
Qualified candidates need to register online on the official counselling portal and provide their preferences for courses and institutions.
