JET Exam Pattern
For aspirant students looking for admission to several undergraduate degree programs in Agriculture and Allied Sciences, the Rajasthan Joint Entrance Test (JET) 2024 serves as a significant first step. This comprehensive exam is required for admission to prestigious colleges and universities, including the State Agriculture/Veterinary Universities of Rajasthan, such as the SKRAU Bikaner, MPUAT Udaipur, SKNAU Jobner AU, Jodhpur, AU Kota, and RAJUVAS Bikaner, as well as a few prestigious private universities that offer Agriculture programs in the state.
Exam Pattern
- Rajasthan JET 2024 exam comprises five sections- Agriculture, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Candidates' knowledge in the respective subject is evaluated in each section.
- The exam consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs), where applicants must choose the right response from a list of possible answers.
- There are 200 questions in all, with 40 questions in each section of the exam.
- The total marks for the exam are 800, where each correct answer is awarded 4 marks.
- There is a negative marking policy for the exam. One mark is subtracted from the final score for each incorrect response.
- The question paper is multilingual and is written in both Hindi and English.
- To mark the answer circles on the Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) sheet, candidates must use a black ballpoint pen. Every correct response receives four marks.
- For unmarked or unattempted questions, no marks are given or subtracted.
- The Rajasthan JET test is two hours long.
