Rajasthan Technical University, , also known as RTU, Kota, was founded in 2006 by the Government of Rajasthan to improve technical education in the state. The university is located on the campus of the University College of Engineering, Kota (formerly known as Engineering College, Kota). RTU Kota is among the oldest universities in the country, educating students with technical expertise.

RTU campus is spread around 355 acres and is well equipped with all the latest facilities to enable students with overall growth. Rajasthan Technical University offers a variety of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate programs, giving students a wide range of RTU courses to choose from.

The hostel rooms are spacious and well-furnished. The hostel premises is monitored by CCTV and safety surveillance cameras around the clock. A round-the-clock housekeeping service keeps the hostel rooms clean and safe.
